Lung health is essential to your wellbeing.

Lung disease can significantly affect the quality of your life. Symptoms of breathlessness, cough, recurrent chest infections and chest pain can limit your enjoyment of life, restrict your ability to work and study and if severe result in hospital admissions and even affect the length of your life. CT scans performed by your GP may have identified concerning abnormalities that cause stress and anxiety. We are here to help.

The Lung specialist team at MMS is committed to assessing your symptoms providing rapid review, appropriate testing and discussing with you how to manage your symptoms and any identified disease. We will work together with you and your GP to achieve your wellbeing, help you through any difficult decisions and support you if there are trying times ahead.

Our team of experts is focused on providing a quality diagnostic and clinical respiratory service that utilises state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment, highly trained respiratory technicians and specialist doctors which ensure the most accurate diagnosis and treatment options are provided to you. We work closely with ICON chemotherapy and radiotherapy service in Midland and our lung surgeon colleagues to provide complete lung cancer management service.

If you are concerned about your lung health please speak to your GP and ask if a referral to see a lung (respiratory) specialist is needed.
