Rebecca grew up in England and Ireland, before graduating from University College Cork in 2003 with a Bachelor of Medicine. She completed her internship in Cork, Ireland and moved to Perth in 2004. She completed Basic and Advanced Physician Training, working across multiple metropolitan and regional/remote sites, and attaining Fellowship in General Medicine and Nephrology in 2013. She worked in the Kimberley Region until mid 2014, and has been based in Perth since that time. She has worked in the Midland area since late 2014, and currently has a hospital appointment at St John of God Midland Public and Private Hospitals.
Rebecca has an interest in many areas of clinical medicine, as well as medical education and junior doctor mentorship. She is a member of the RACP Advanced Training Committee for General Medicine, and actively involved with the FRACP clinical examinations. Clinical interests include (but are not limited to) Hypertension, Cardiorenal syndrome, management of Acute Glomerulonephritis, and supportive/palliative management of progressive CKD.
Outside of medicine, Rebecca enjoys travel, photography, renovation projects and spending time with family.
