Dr. So graduated from the University of Western Australia in 2003 and completed his advanced gastroenterology training in Perth. He attained his specialist qualification in 2011, becoming a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP).
In 2011 Dr. So embarked on a two-year clinical and research fellowship in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and Gastroenterology in Exeter, UK, with a focus on complex IBD management, IBD pharmacogenetic and general luminal gastroenterology.
Dr. So has a keen interest in inflammatory bowel disease, as well as coeliac disease, iron deficiency anaemia, colonoscopy, gastroscopy, gastro-oesophageal reflux disease, bowel cancer screening and general adult gastroenterology. He currently holds consultant posts at St John of God Midland Public and Private Hospital and Royal Perth Hospital.
